2009 Froguts Inc. Biology Teaching Enhancement Grant
Win a Year's Subscription to Virtual Dissection Software
The 2009 Froguts Inc. Biology Teaching Enhancement Grant recognizes outstanding efforts of teachers who are working to enhance biology content presentation; integrate technology into their curriculum; and encourage and engage learners to explore biology.
This year, 25 teachers, their students, and their schools will be selected. Each winning submission receives:
- A free one-year subscription to Froguts Virtual Dissection & Labs Software. Every student, in any class, in any grade, in the winning school will be able to use the software at school and at home.
- All schools (grades K–12) in the United States are eligible to apply.
Applications must be submitted by a teacher/instructor. Submissions should include:
- Teacher name and school name
- Number of students who will use the software
- A 500-words-or-less proposal of planned use for Froguts Subscription Software. Your description should include:
- how the software will supplement classroom innovation
- impact on current approach to dissection and labs
- how the software will enhance student learning
- a demonstration of classroom and/or school need.
Public and private schools are all eligible to apply. Current or previous subscribers of Froguts Subscription Service or previous award-winning submissions are not eligible to apply.
All entries must be received by 5 p.m. PST on Friday, November 28, 2008. Submit your application by email to awards@froguts.com. Awards will be announced January 5th, 2009.
