Students and educators increasingly suffer through continuous heatwaves in school buildings, making it unsafe to learn and work. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration is considering new heat rules and needs to hear from you—customize the comment on the right to include your state, whether or not you are an educator, and any experiences you have excessive heat. 

OSHA is considering revised heat rules that would apply to the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming.
