We Are Your Colleagues.

Some discount organizations claim to be working on behalf of Kansas educators, but a closer look reveals who they really are and who they’re really working for. When you look behind the curtain of the discount organizations, you’ll see they are backed by special interests working to undermine your rights. Instead of representative leadership where members guide the organization, these organizations are led by executives in places like California and New Jersey.

We Live and Work in Kansas.

The KNEA Board of directors and a team of statewide officers are elected by members, and all are professionals who work in Kansas school districts, education institutions, and higher education institutions. Most of our staff started their careers as classroom teachers, and unlike those discount companies, we have a team of attorneys employed by KNEA who work full time in our Topeka office to represent members and the association.
