Together We're Stronger. Together We're Heard.

Together we are the biggest and loudest advocates for our schools, our students, and ourselves. We band together to improve public school classrooms for ourselves and our students and to make ourselves heard in the halls of power.

Ensuring Student Success

Each and every student deserves a quality public education. NEA unites our members and the nation to ensure all students have the resources they need to fulfill their potential and their dreams. We know that growth is work. That’s why we’ve created a framework, guide, and grants to support collaboration and innovation–so students in every zip code, in every family, of every background, attend a great public school.

Creating great public schools

Protecting Your Rights and Workplace

Collective bargaining and advocacy ensure that we enhance student learning and improve educator working conditions–benefiting our students, schools, and the community as a whole. We believe in taking collective action to ensure the collective good. When we raise our voices, we help every educator get the support they need to join, stay, and thrive in our profession.

Ways to connect

Member Marcia MacKey
The union has supported me in everything. I have gotten all sorts of training. I think I am much better in the classroom because of my union work. I think I am a better advocate because I found out I have a voice.
