NEA Teacher Evaluation and Accountability Toolkit

The NEA Teacher Evaluation and Accountability Toolkit is an electronic toolkit that facilitates developing, implementing, and sustaining high-quality evaluation and accountability systems that enhance instruction and improve student learning.
Published: July 2020

The NEA Teacher Evaluation and Accountability Toolkit was created to help state affiliates implement the Association’s policy on teacher evaluation and accountability. This electronic toolkit provides resources and model language that can be used to develop and support high-quality evaluation and accountability systems that are tied to improvements in teaching and learning. It is also designed to help state and local affiliates help members understand four key issues: teacher evaluation, peer assistance, peer assistance and review, and fair dismissal.
