Understanding Health Care

Educators deserve access to quality, affordable, and comprehensive health care coverage.

Making sense of your health care coverage is important, whether you’re reviewing the plan you are currently enrolled in, working with your employer to restructure a plan, or looking for a new plan.

NEA has prepared materials to help educators make sense of their various health plan choices and to assist them in making the most informed decisions when selecting or changing plans.

Make Sense of Your Health Care Plan

It can take health benefit expertise, and advanced planning to compare different health plan design options, and various cost sharing requirements such as premiums, copayment, coinsurance, and deductible amounts. Use these online tools to learn about educators' health care options.
